O trabalho emocional: reflexão e investigação em cuidados de enfermagem

Abstract

The researchers participated in the XIIe Colloque International PRAQSI, where they approached the subject of “Emotions in Health”, a Research Branch of ui&de, in Luxemburg, on the 11th and 12th of October 2012. The purpose of this participation was to share knowledge, thoughts, and means of research, and to establish international contacts looking to develop future projects. Two communications with the same content were made to different lecture theaters. Each communication lasted 15 minutes, followed by a discussion period of 20 and 30 minutes respectively. The communications aimed to share experience and research about the emotional dimensions in nursing practice; reflect on the emotional work of nurses; and present a research project. Its aim was to raise the awareness of emotional work in nursing.
